For anyone tracking the modern limited-release era of American whiskey, this is a foundational pour.

Barrel-proof bourbon of this maturity runs dense and oak-forward, with dark caramel, char, dried fruit and a warm spine of rye spice. Drink it neat in a small glass, or loosen it with a few drops of water to draw out the sweeter notes. Best shared with someone who will notice what they are drinking.

Quick facts

Size: 750 ml

Category: Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey

Origin: Kentucky, USA

Cask: Single barrel, barrel proof, non-chill filtered
