Product Description
Rest changes a tequila’s temperament, and 100 Años Reposado is the easygoing counterpart to the house Blanco. Time in oak rounds off the sharper agave edges and lends a faint golden cast and a touch of sweetness, without turning the spirit into something it is not. From Casa Sauza in Jalisco, it stays an honest everyday pour that punches above its shelf price.
Look for gentle vanilla and caramel over baked agave, a soft mid-palate and a warm, unhurried finish. It sips comfortably on the rocks with an orange twist, and makes a rounder, mellower margarita than a blanco would. A good middle-ground bottle for anyone easing into aged tequila.
