Product Description
Aged tequila asks for time and good wood, and 1800 gives its Añejo both — extended maturation in French and American oak that softens the spirit and draws out its darker register. The angular bottle has been on back bars for years, but the liquid inside is the reason it stays there. All of it built on 100% blue Weber agave grown in Jalisco.
Amber in the glass, it leads with caramel, dried apricot and vanilla, then warm oak spice and a faint smokiness before a long, mellow close. Pour it neat after dinner, or build a tequila Old Fashioned around it. A confident gift bottle for a whiskey drinker curious about agave.
