Grapefruit Hibiscus is the most striking bottle in the 21 Seeds lineup, pairing tart citrus with the floral, faintly tannic edge of hibiscus over a base of blanco tequila. The infusion does the work a paloma normally needs three ingredients to do, and it does it with more depth than a mixer manages.
The pour is pink-tinged and aromatic: pink grapefruit up front, dried flower and a cranberry-like tartness behind, finishing dry rather than sweet. Build it over ice with soda and a lime wedge, top it with sparkling water for a long drink, or shake it into a rosy margarita. A natural for spring and summer entertaining.
