Lot 152 is the 90+ Cellars Chardonnay, sourced the way the whole range is: finished wine bought from a producer who would rather sell it quietly than discount their own label. The 2019 is drinking in its comfortable middle age, where the fruit has settled and the texture has filled out.
Expect ripe apple and pear with citrus behind them, a creamy mid-palate and a rounded, lightly toasted finish. Serve it cool but not ice cold, with roast chicken, seafood in butter, creamy pasta or a wedge of triple-cream cheese.
