Product Description
Pauillac is the most decorated commune in the Medoc, home to three of Bordeaux’s five first growths, and its name alone usually adds a premium to a bottle. Lot 201 is the 90+ Cellars route in: real Pauillac fruit, bottled under a lot number instead of a chateau name.
Expect a serious, Cabernet-led red — blackcurrant and dark plum wrapped in cedar, pencil shaving and tobacco, with firm tannins and a long, dry finish. Decant it for an hour and serve it with rare lamb, ribeye or a mature hard cheese. The 2019 has years ahead of it if you would rather wait.
