Product Description
Malbec earned its following by being generous without being complicated — dark, plush and easy to like from the first sip. Lot 23 is one of the longer-running bottlings in the 90+ Cellars catalog, which is generally a sign that people keep buying it.
Expect inky color, blackberry and dark plum, a lift of violet and a hint of cocoa and vanilla from oak, with soft tannins and a smooth finish. It is made for the grill: skirt steak, chorizo, lamb burgers, charred vegetables or a hard cheese. Serve it just below room temperature and it will do the rest.
