Product Description
Alamos comes from the Catena family, the name most responsible for Argentine Malbec being taken seriously in the first place. The fruit is grown in Mendoza at altitude, where cool nights preserve acidity and the sun does the rest — and the result is far more wine than the price would predict.
Ripe blackberry and plum lead, with a violet lift, a touch of mocha from oak, and smooth tannins on a generous finish. It is a natural with anything from the grill: skirt steak, chimichurri, burgers, or grilled portobello. Also perfectly happy on its own by the fire.
