Product Description
Campo de Borja grows some of Spain’s oldest Garnacha, on stony ground in the shadow of the Moncayo massif, and Alto Moncayo has spent two decades showing what that fruit can do in serious hands. Veratón is the estate’s more accessible bottling, and it remains one of the great value propositions in Spanish red wine.
Dense and dark, with black cherry, blueberry and cassis over cocoa, licorice and French oak spice, finishing warm, ripe and long. Give it an hour in a decanter. Pour it with grilled lamb, braised beef, aged manchego, or anything cooked over a wood fire.
