Product Description
Lincoln Henderson spent a long career at the top of Kentucky distilling before founding Angel's Envy in his seventies, with one idea in mind: finish good bourbon in port wine barrels and see what happens. The answer became one of the most admired American whiskeys of the modern era.
Ruby port casks add stone fruit, raisin and a rounded sweetness to a backbone of vanilla, maple and toasted oak, and the finish runs long and warm without heat. Sip it neat first, then try a single cube. It builds a superb old fashioned when the mood calls.
