Product Description
The town of Tequila sits at the foot of a volcano in Jalisco, and this is one of the more honest bottles to come out of it. Arette is a family-run house with decades of history in that valley, and its standard blanco is the everyday expression: unaged, straightforward and made entirely from blue agave. It has quietly become a bartender staple for exactly that reason.
Sweet cooked agave leads, followed by black pepper, lime zest and a soft herbal finish. Mix it into a margarita and it holds its own against the citrus rather than vanishing. Equally good in a highball with grapefruit soda and salt.
