Product Description
Grape brandy is close to a national craft in Armenia, where distillers have worked with indigenous varieties and oak casks since the nineteenth century. This bottling comes from that lineage, aiming for the mellow, fruit-forward style the region is known for rather than the tight structure of French brandy. It is an affordable way into a category most American shelves ignore.
Look for raisin, apricot and honeyed oak, with a warm, slightly sweet finish that fades slowly. Pour it neat in a small glass after dinner, add a large ice cube if you prefer it cooler, or let it stand in for brandy in a classic cocktail.
