Product Description
Arte Azul puts as much thought into its bottles as its blends, and the anejo is where the two meet: a hand-finished decanter holding tequila that has spent at least a year in oak. Time in wood pulls the spirit toward the whiskey end of the spectrum without erasing the agave that makes it tequila in the first place.
Amber in the glass, it tastes of butterscotch, roasted agave, dried fruit and a light touch of oak spice, finishing warm and lingering. Serve it neat at room temperature in a copita or small tumbler, alongside coffee, flan or dark chocolate after dinner.
