Product Description
Ribera del Duero runs along a high plateau in northern Spain where days are hot, nights are cold and Tempranillo ripens with unusual concentration. Arzuaga farms a showcase estate on the stretch known as the Golden Mile, and its wines have become a reliable benchmark for what the appellation does well: dense fruit held together by oak and structure.
Expect blackberry, black cherry and plum wrapped in vanilla, tobacco and toasted cedar from barrel aging, with firm tannins and a long finish. Decant it, then serve it with roast lamb, grilled ribeye or aged Manchego. It drinks well now and will hold for several years yet.
