Product Description
An ayate is the coarse cloth woven from agave fiber that Mexican farmers have carried for generations, and it is a fitting name for a tequila that keeps things unpretentious. This reposado takes 100% agave spirit and rests it in oak, arriving at something smooth and easygoing without chasing the heavy vanilla sweetness that dominates the category. Quiet packaging, sensible price, honest liquid.
Light oak and vanilla sit over clear cooked agave, with citrus peel and a soft, clean finish. It is flexible by design: pleasant neat, excellent in a margarita, and genuinely good in a paloma where the oak adds a little body. A practical everyday reposado for people who drink agave more than they collect it.
