Apple is one of the flavors that made the Barefoot fruit range work, because it does not fight the wine underneath it. This is a sweet Moscato base given a clear orchard-apple character, and the 1.5 litre bottle is the size to reach for when it is going into a punch bowl or a crowd.
The flavor is crisp green apple over soft honeyed fruit, sweet and light with a clean finish. Serve it very cold, or over ice with a squeeze of lemon. It works as a warm-weather sipper, mixes well into sangria and spritzers, and pairs easily with cheese boards and fresh fruit.
