Think baked apple, ripe pear and vanilla, with a distinctly creamy texture and a long, soft finish. Serve it chilled but not frozen, around 50 degrees, so the richness comes through. It is excellent with roast chicken, lobster, cream sauces, buttered corn and mashed potatoes.
