Product Description
Spumante is the Italian word for sparkling, and Barefoot borrows the idea for a California take on sweet bubbles. It is the bottle you open when the occasion calls for a cork pop but not for Champagne money, and it has quietly become a fixture at brunches, showers and New Year toasts across the country.
The fizz is soft rather than aggressive, carrying peach, orange blossom and honeyed muscat grape into a sweet finish. Serve it thoroughly chilled in a flute, or use it as the base of a mimosa where its sweetness does the work sugar usually has to. It pairs happily with fruit tarts, brunch spreads and salty snacks.
