Product Description
Cherry, raspberry and a whisper of vanilla, all in a light frame that never asks much of the drinker. This is Pinot Noir in its most approachable form, made in California and priced for a Tuesday rather than an anniversary. For a grape that usually costs a great deal more, that counts for something.
The tannins are soft, the body is light and the finish is smooth and short. Fifteen minutes in the refrigerator brings the fruit into focus. Pour it with salmon, roast chicken, mushroom risotto or a board of soft cheeses. It is also one of the better reds to open when half the table would rather be drinking white.
