Product Description
Pinot Grigio is northern Italy's most successful export, a white built for drinking rather than discussing, and Bel Vento works squarely in that tradition. The name translates as beautiful wind, which is about right for a wine whose chief virtue is that it lifts a meal without ever getting in its way.
Light-bodied and dry, with green apple, pear and citrus over a clean, crisp finish and no oak anywhere in sight. Serve it properly cold. It is the natural partner for antipasti, grilled fish, shellfish, chicken and any pasta dressed with olive oil and herbs, and it is one of the easier bottles to put in front of a mixed table.
