Product Description
Made at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky, Benchmark is one of the best-known value bourbons in the country and a genuine bargain for what it is. The same distillery that turns out far more expensive labels puts this one on the shelf at a price that makes it a legitimate everyday pour rather than an occasional treat.
It is light-bodied and easy, with caramel, corn sweetness and a touch of oak, finishing short and clean without any harshness. This is a mixing bourbon first: excellent in a highball, a whiskey sour, or simply over ice with a splash of water. A dependable workhorse for the back bar.
