Product Description
Malbec earned its following by delivering plush, dark, immediately enjoyable red wine without asking much of the drinker, and it translates beautifully into a three liter box. The case here is simple: the everyday red in your kitchen should be good, and it should still be good a week after opening.
Expect blackberry and blueberry fruit, a soft violet note and a smooth cocoa finish, with tannins that are round rather than grippy. It is a natural partner for anything off a grill, steak in particular, along with empanadas, pizza and roasted vegetables. Serve slightly below room temperature.
