Product Description
Undiluted is the entire proposition. Straight From The Barrel goes into the bottle with no water added and no chill filtration, exactly as it came out of the cask, which means the strength shifts from barrel to barrel and every bottle is a slightly different animal. It is the most sought-after expression in the Blanton lineup and has never been easy to find in the United States.
At full proof the flavours stack up: thick caramel, dark cherry, tobacco, orange oil and a broad wave of oak, with a finish that goes on for a long time. Give it a drop or two of water and it unfolds rather than softens. Neat, in a small glass, with your full attention. Strictly a sipping whiskey.
