Product Description
Eight bottles, eight stoppers, one word. Each Blanton Original stopper carries a horse and jockey caught at a different stage of a race, and the letters on the bases spell out the brand name when you line the full set up in order. Assembling all eight from single barrel releases takes patience, which is why complete collections are usually bought rather than built. Every bottle is still Blanton Original, drawn one cask at a time.
The whiskey itself is the reason the set is worth owning: honey, vanilla, citrus and light rye spice over a rounded oak frame, finishing smooth and gently sweet. Pour it neat or in a highball with soda. A display piece for a serious bourbon shelf, and a formidable gift.
