Idaho grows the best potatoes in the United States, and Blue Ice makes its vodka from Russet Burbanks rather than the grain most producers use. Potato distillation is slower and more demanding than working with grain, but it delivers a fuller, rounder texture that grain simply cannot replicate. A genuinely different take on a category that usually prizes neutrality above all.
