Product Description
The Extra Blend is Blue Nectar at its most deliberate: an anejo assembled by marrying barrel lots rather than bottling a single one, so the house style holds steady from release to release. Blending is the quiet craft in tequila, less romantic than a lone cask and considerably harder to do well. What it buys you is a smoother, more layered pour than age alone would deliver.
Look for baked apple, butterscotch and roasted agave over a light oak frame, finishing warm and unusually long. Serve neat at room temperature, or over one large cube if the evening runs late. It suits anyone graduating from mixing tequila to sipping it.
