Product Description
Jumilla has quietly become one of the best value regions in Spain, and Goru makes a fair argument for why. Monastrell thrives in the area's chalky, sun-hammered soils, producing reds of real density that never ask the price their Rhone or Napa equivalents would. The 18M earns its name honestly: a year and a half in barrel before release is serious cellar work at this level.
Blackberry and dried fig arrive wrapped in vanilla, clove and a savory graphite edge, with tannins that are firm but well polished. Pull the cork half an hour early. Grilled lamb, chorizo and hard sheep cheese are its natural company.
