Product Description
Petite Sirah is a misleading name for a grape that makes some of the darkest, most muscular red wine in California. Bogle has championed it for years and remains among its most consistent producers. Inky in the glass, firm on the palate and built to stand up to serious food, it is the bottle to reach for when a Cabernet would feel too polite.
Blueberry, black plum and dark chocolate, with pepper and grippy tannins carrying a long finish. It rewards a decant or at least a wide bowl. Serve with brisket, lamb shoulder, aged cheddar, or anything cooked low and slow.
