Product Description
Sapphire East adds two botanicals to the original ten: Thai lemongrass and Vietnamese black peppercorn, both selected with one drink in mind. The brief was a gin that could hold its shape against American tonic water, which runs sweeter than its British counterpart, and it was bottled at a higher strength for the same reason. The extra weight is noticeable immediately.
Lemongrass gives it a bright, almost aromatic lift, while the peppercorn leaves a warm tingle across the finish. Juniper and citrus sit underneath where they belong. Built for a tall glass with plenty of ice and a lime wheel, though it makes a lively Martini too.
