Product Description
Campo de Borja, in Spain's Aragon region, grows old-vine Garnacha on ground so poor the vines have no choice but to concentrate. Borsao built one of Europe's great value operations out of exactly that, and the rosado is the summer end of it. Bright, properly dry, and made in serious quantity, it undercuts Provence by a wide margin without ever tasting like a compromise.
Wild strawberry, watermelon and a touch of orange peel, with brisk acidity and a dry, faintly saline close. Serve it very cold. Excellent with paella, grilled chicken, jamon, tapas of any description, or a bowl of olives and almonds.
