This one holds up better than the format leads you to expect, keeping the lightness and red-fruit clarity that make Pinot worth drinking instead of bulking it out into a generic red. Red cherry, raspberry and a touch of earth over silky tannins and fresh acidity. Serve it cool, at roughly cellar temperature. It is the most food-flexible red in the range, equally at ease with salmon, roast chicken, mushroom pasta or a cheese board.
