Product Description
High in the Guatemalan highlands the mountain air is cool and thin, and rum matures more slowly for it. Botran 18 is the long game in the family range, drawn from a solera of casks reaching up to eighteen years and built on virgin sugarcane honey rather than molasses. Gentler extraction means a spirit that arrives polished instead of woody.
The profile leans dark and dessert like: fig, cocoa, orange peel and a whisper of tobacco leaf, carried on a texture closer to silk than syrup. Pour it neat after dinner, alongside dark chocolate or a good cigar. This is a sipping rum, and it rewards an unhurried hour.
