Product Description
Presentation matters when the bottle is doing the talking, and this VSOP arrives boxed and ready to hand over. Inside is Bou cognac from the Charente region of France, where appellation rules are strict and cellar work is measured in years rather than months. The four year minimum for VSOP is a floor rather than a target, and the packaging saves you a trip down the wrapping paper aisle.
In the glass it runs amber and soft, with stone fruit, honey and light vanilla oak. Friendly enough to sip neat, sturdy enough for a sidecar or a cognac and ginger. Good for a housewarming, a promotion, or the relative who is impossible to shop for.
