Serenity is the white blend in the Brassfield range, and blending is precisely the point. No single grape has to carry the whole glass, so the wine can be aromatic and refreshing at the same time. The estate farms at elevation in Lake County, California, where cool nights preserve the perfume that gives this style its lift.
Expect white peach, citrus blossom and a touch of tropical fruit, finishing dry and clean rather than sweet. Pour it very cold as an aperitif, or set it beside spicy Thai takeout, grilled shrimp or a summer cheese board. Easy company, and forgiving of a table where nobody agrees on wine.
