Product Description
The reserve tier is where Bread and Butter turns the dial up. The philosophy is unchanged, with ripe California Chardonnay, barrel richness and a creamy mouthfeel, but there is more oak influence and more weight behind it, aimed at drinkers who liked the standard bottling and wanted more of everything in it.
It pours deep gold and drinks broad, with baked pear, lemon custard, toasted hazelnut and a long, warming finish. Give it a proper glass and serve it cool rather than cold. Roast chicken, lobster, scallops in brown butter, or a wedge of triple cream cheese. A special occasion white that still feels generous.
