Product Description
White Port is the best kept secret of the Douro Valley. It is fortified like its ruby and tawny siblings but made from white grapes and built for the start of a meal rather than the end of one. In Porto itself it is drunk long and cold with tonic, and almost never contemplated in reverent silence.
This one is off dry, with nutty almond, dried apricot and citrus peel over a gently warming spirit base. Pour it over ice with tonic and a strip of lemon for a portonic, or serve it chilled and neat with salted almonds and olives before dinner. A genuinely useful bottle most people have never tried.
