Brown sugar and cinnamon folded into bourbon. BSB does not overthink its own premise, and it does not need to. At 60 proof it is deliberately softer than a standard whiskey, closer in weight to a liqueur, and built for people who want the flavour of a spiced dessert without the heat of a full strength pour.
The palate is sweet and warm, with caramelised sugar, baking spice, vanilla and a mellow oak note holding it down. Serve it chilled, over ice, or stirred into coffee or hot cider. It also makes a very good autumn old fashioned. Approachable, and reliably popular once the weather turns.
