Product Description
Italy's best known television journalist turned a family plot in Puglia into a working winery, and Primitivo, the grape that thrives in the heel of the country, was the obvious place to begin. The southern sun does most of the heavy lifting here, ripening thick skinned fruit to a level the north of Italy can only imagine.
The 2018 is warm and full, with black cherry, dried fig, liquorice and a hint of sweet spice, finishing on soft tannins and a whisper of chocolate. Serve it at about 64 degrees with lamb, aged pecorino, sausage ragu or anything cooked over charcoal. Big, generous, and very easy to enjoy.
