Product Description
Pineapple, orange peel and a soft malt sweetness: this is Scotch whisky with the volume turned down and the fruit turned up. Buchanan's built it on the same blended base that made the house famous, flavoured it with pineapple and citrus, then bottled it at 70 proof, comfortably below the standard strength.
The result drinks light and tropical, with just enough whisky character underneath to keep it from tasting like candy. It is best very cold, straight from the freezer, over crushed ice, or stretched with soda and a squeeze of lime. A natural for warm weather and for anyone who has found standard Scotch too severe.
