Product Description
A proprietary red is the winemaker's own blend, assembled from whichever varieties best serve the vintage rather than bound to a single grape on the label. Buena Vista, working out of Sonoma since 1857, uses that freedom to build a red that is generous and approachable rather than austere. Keep it on hand for the nights when dinner has not been decided yet.
Expect ripe red and black fruit, a rounded mid-palate, soft tannins and a touch of oak spice on the close. Serve slightly below room temperature in a wide glass. Flexible enough for burgers, pasta in red sauce, roast chicken, or a cheese board and no plan whatsoever.
