Product Description
Two bottles from the same Frankfort distillery, arranged so that the difference between them becomes the point. Buffalo Trace is the everyday benchmark; Eagle Rare is the older, more contemplative sibling. Tasting them beside one another teaches more about bourbon than any amount of reading, and as a gift it solves the difficult problem of what to bring someone who already knows what they like.
Pour both into identical glasses and work from lighter to richer. Caramel and baking spice from the first, deeper oak, dried fruit and a little leather from the second. Neat, at room temperature, with water on the side. Made for a slow evening and one good conversation.
