Product Description
Bulleit built its reputation on high-rye recipes, and this is the purest expression of that idea anywhere in the range: a mash bill running to ninety-five percent rye, bottled at ninety proof. The full-size bottle is the one that belongs on a working bar cart, because once you start reaching for it in cocktails it disappears faster than expected.
The nose is peppery and lightly floral; the palate follows with clove, cinnamon, a thread of vanilla sweetness and a dry, lingering close. It holds its shape against sweet vermouth, bitters and citrus rather than vanishing into them. Excellent neat, indispensable in a Manhattan, and a real upgrade to a whiskey sour.
