Product Description
Good Pinot Noir in an aluminum can is a fairly recent development, and it quietly solves several problems: no corkscrew, no glass at the pool or the campsite, and no half-finished bottle going flat on the counter. Butternut puts a genuine California Pinot into a 375 ml can, which works out to a generous two glasses.
Light to medium in body, with red cherry, raspberry and a touch of baking spice over soft tannins and bright acidity. Chill it lightly, then pour it into a real glass if there is one within reach. Good company for salmon, roast chicken, mushroom dishes, or a picnic blanket and nothing formal at all.
