Product Description
Somewhere between the sharp clarity of a blanco and the heavy oak of an anejo sits reposado, which is why it is the most-poured category in Mexico. Camarena rests its highland agave spirit in oak just long enough to take the edge off while keeping the agave in charge. A well made everyday bottle, nothing more and nothing less.
Pale gold, with aromas of vanilla and cooked agave, then a palate of caramel, light cinnamon and gentle pepper that fades slowly. Pour it neat after dinner, or let it anchor a margarita that wants more depth than a silver can give. Serve at room temperature, or over one large cube.
