Product Description
Aged just long enough to soften and no longer, this reposado occupies the sweet spot most agave drinkers eventually land on. Cantera Negra works exclusively with blue agave and finishes the spirit in oak, producing something approachable enough for a newcomer and interesting enough for someone who already knows the category well.
The glass gives you light gold colour, cooked agave and vanilla on the nose, then caramel, pepper and citrus zest across the palate. Sip it neat, or build a margarita where the oak adds a little weight behind the lime. Room temperature to sip, shaken and cold when it goes into a cocktail.
