Product Description
Barbaresco is Nebbiolo grown on the gentler side of the Langhe hills, and it has spent a century being described as the graceful counterpart to Barolo. This bottling puts that reputation within reach of a weeknight table, offering the structure and perfume of the grape without the cellar patience the region usually demands.
Expect dried rose, sour cherry and a note of tar or woodsmoke, with firm tannins and bright acidity carrying a long finish. Decant for half an hour and serve just below room temperature. It belongs with braised beef, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses, or a Sunday dinner that runs late.
