Product Description
Italians called it the wine of kings long before marketing departments existed, and Barolo has never much needed the help. Made entirely from Nebbiolo in a small stretch of Piedmont, it is one of the few red wines that genuinely rewards patience, and this bottling is an approachable way into a famously demanding appellation.
Pale garnet in the glass, with aromas of rose petal, cherry and dried herbs, then a palate defined by grip, acidity and a long savory finish. Decant an hour ahead. Pour it with brasato, truffle pasta, roast game or a well-aged hard cheese and give the bottle the meal it deserves.
