Product Description
Antonio Benedetto Carpano is generally credited with inventing vermouth in Turin in 1786, and Antica Formula is the house tribute to that original recipe. For a generation of bartenders it has been the benchmark sweet vermouth, the bottle that made people realize a Manhattan could taste like something else entirely.
Rich and layered, with vanilla, dried fig, bitter orange, cocoa and a long, gently bitter herbal finish. Serve it over ice with a twist as an aperitif, or build a Manhattan or Negroni where it will happily make itself heard. Refrigerate after opening and use it within a couple of months.
