Product Description
Mexican law requires an anejo to spend at least a year in oak barrels no larger than 600 liters, and that year is what separates this from the clear tequila sitting on the shelf below it. Casa Mexico uses the time to build weight and sweetness without losing the agave underneath.
Golden and rounded, with butterscotch, baked apple and soft spice layered over roasted agave, finishing long and gently warming. Pour it neat in a small glass and give it a minute to open up. Best after a meal, alongside dark chocolate or a strong coffee, or simply on its own.
