This is the top of the Casa Noble range, and it behaves accordingly. Marques de Casa Noble is an anejo given a long stay in French white oak, produced from single-estate blue agave and triple distilled, aimed squarely at drinkers who would otherwise be reaching for aged rum or cognac.
Deep amber, with dried fruit, toffee, dark chocolate and cigar box laid over roasted agave, then a remarkably long, silky finish. Serve it neat in a snifter and let it sit a few minutes before the first sip. A special-occasion bottle, and a genuinely impressive gift for a committed tequila drinker.
